Reagle receives multiple IRNE nominations for 2009 Summer Season!

February 12, 2010 (Waltham, MA)… Waltham's Reagle Players received multiple “Best of” nominations from the Independent Reviewers of New England, IRNE Award nominating panel. Nominations were announced February 11.

All Reagle nominees participated in the 2009 summer season, billed as A Salute to Jerry Herman. Herman is the famed Broadway composer and recipient of a special Lifetime Achievement Honorary Tony last year. The entire Reagle summer season was comprised of three of Herman’s greatest hits: Hello, Dolly!, Mame, and La Cage aux Folles.

All nominations were in the Large Company category. IRNE nominations included Best Musical nods to both Hello, Dolly! and La Cage aux Folles. …

Waltham Organizations Receive Over $29K in Grants from Foundation for MetroWest

December 14, 2009 (Natick, MA)… Foundation for MetroWest announced today that organizations throughout Waltham would receive grants totaling $29,500 as part of their 2009 grant cycle.  The announcement was part of an event held today at the DeCordova Sculpture Park + Museum in Lincoln, MA to distribute $160,000 throughout the region.

Reagle Players was awarded a $5,000 grant to support their "A Little Bit of Ireland" performances. …
